Florida's public pension system ranks 19th in the nation in funded ratio, according to the latest Reason Foundation Annual Pension Solvency and Performance Report.

In performance categories, Florida's system ranks 14th in Return Surplus, which measures investment performance relative to targets, and 32nd in Employer Contribution Rate adequacy.

In investment strategy, the state ranks 22nd in Alternative Assets allocation and 17th in the Probability of Hitting its Assumed Return target.
